How it works

Step 1: Brush off debris
Sweep away leaves, grit, and loose stone. A mat lying flat against bare ground transfers heat efficiently — and nothing sharp underneath can work its way into the rubber.

Step 2: Unroll the mat
Roll it out on your stairs, walkway, or entry and let it settle flat. Nothing to mount, nothing to anchor into concrete, no contractor.

Step 3: Twist-lock the connectors
Chain mats together with the IP67-rated plugs: line them up, twist until they click. The seal keeps water out of the joint even when it's sitting in slush.

Step 4: Connect the GFCI cord
Plug the power cord into the chain, then into a standard 120V outdoor outlet. One cord carries up to 13 amps, and is built to cut power if it detects a current fault.
Then switch it on before the storm rather than after — a mat that's already warm melts snow as it lands, so you're not fighting a drift by morning.
