The stair treads twist-lock to the walkway mat and run on the same cord, so the whole path is heated end to end, with no cold seam in the middle.

IP67-rated twist-lock connectors keep the mat-to-mat joints sealed under standing snowmelt. Put it down before the first freeze and leave it until spring.

Sweep the surface, set the treads on your steps, unroll the walkway mat, twist-lock everything together, and plug into a standard 120V outdoor outlet. That's the entire install.

Power Requirements

Runs on a standard 120V grounded GFCI outdoor outlet. The included power cord handles the full kit — all three mats stay comfortably within the 13-amp maximum for a single run. Adding more mats later? They twist-lock onto this run until you reach that limit.
