About The Product
The SEAL 11" × 30" heated stair mat is designed to help melt snow on outdoor stair treads. Measure each tread before ordering and choose Mat Only or Mat With GFCI Cord. For multiple steps, plan compatible connections and confirm the total electrical load before building your setup.

| Connections | Compatible SEAL mats use IP67-rated twist-lock connectors. This rating applies to the connectors, not the mat body. |

Set up in four steps
- Brush debris off the placement area.
- Unroll the mat and check that it fits flat within the intended area.
- Join compatible twist-lock connectors as directed in the product instructions.
- Connect the GFCI power cord and use a suitable GFCI-protected outlet, following the product instructions.

Questions before you order
Which option should I choose for my first mat?
Choose Mat With GFCI Cord if you need both the mat and its power cord. Choose Mat Only if you already have a compatible SEAL power connection and sufficient capacity, or are ordering the compatible cord separately.
Can I connect several mats together?
Compatible SEAL stair and walkway mats can connect through their twist-lock connectors. The number you can connect depends on the electrical rating of each mat and the available circuit capacity. Do not exceed the cord's 13 A limit or the limits in the product instructions. SEAL wheelchair ramp mats are standalone and cannot join this system.
Can I cut the mat to fit?
No. Choose a size that fits your space without cutting or trimming. Contact seal@warmseal.net if you need help choosing a size.
How much does it cost to run?
Use the wattage on your mat's label to estimate electricity cost: watts ÷ 1,000 × operating hours × your electricity rate per kWh. The result depends on your mat, operating time, and local rate.
