Plan the fit before you order
Measure the usable ramp surface, including clearance around handrails, edges, and transitions. Check that the mat can lie flat and that its cord can be routed clear of the travel path. The mat's size alone does not establish that a ramp meets accessibility requirements.
Set up for winter use
- Brush debris off the ramp and inspect the placement area.
- Unroll the mat and check the fit, edges, and transitions.
- Position and secure it as directed in the supplied instructions, keeping the cord clear of the access route.
- Connect to a suitable GFCI-protected outlet as directed in the product instructions.
Do not cut or trim the heated mat. Follow the product instructions and check the surface during use. Snow-melting performance varies with weather, snowfall, and placement; inspect the route and manage any remaining snow or ice.
Questions before you order
Can I connect this to SEAL stair or walkway mats?
No. This ramp mat is a standalone product and cannot connect in series with other mats.
Will it fit every wheelchair ramp?
No single size fits every ramp. Compare the 37" × 10 ft mat dimensions with your usable ramp surface and transitions before ordering. Contact seal@warmseal.net with your measurements if you need help.
How much electricity does it use?
At its rated 950W, the mat uses 0.95 kWh for each hour operating at full rated power. Estimated cost equals 0.95 × operating hours × your electricity rate per kWh. Actual consumption depends on operating time and conditions.
Can I trim it around railings or ramp edges?
No. Do not cut or alter the heated mat. Confirm the fit before installation.

Looking for mats for steps or a walkway?
