About The Product

The SEAL 37 in x 15 ft heated wheelchair ramp mat helps melt snow on correctly fitted ramps and accessible entrances. It uses 120V power at 1200W and operates independently. Measure the usable ramp surface, check edges and transitions, and plan the electrical supply before choosing this longer mat.

Plan the fit

Measure the usable ramp surface, including clearance near handrails, edges and transitions. Compare it with the 37 in x 15 ft mat. A ramp described as 36 inches wide is not automatically a suitable fit. Plan the power-cord route clear of the access path and secure the mat only as instructed.

Installation in four steps

Follow the supplied product instructions.

  1. Brush debris off the ramp and inspect the intended placement area.
  2. Unroll the mat and check its fit, edges and transitions against the measured ramp space.
  3. Position and secure the mat as directed in its supplied instructions, with the power cord clear of the access route.
  4. Connect to a suitable 120V GFCI-protected outlet according to the product-specific electrical instructions.

Do not cut or trim the heated mat. Keep cords clear of walking routes and inspect the placement during use. Snow-melting performance varies with weather, snowfall and site conditions; maintain uncovered areas and check for remaining snow or ice.

Compatibility and limits

This is a standalone mat. It cannot connect in series with another ramp mat or the SEAL stair and walkway connection system.

Rated power of 1200W at 120V gives a calculated current of 10A. This calculation is not a circuit-capacity recommendation; follow the product instructions and account for other loads on the circuit.

Mat dimensions do not establish accessibility compliance. Check the full ramp layout, usable width, edges and transitions before installation.

Do not apply the IP67 connector rating of connectable stair and walkway mats to this standalone ramp mat.

Estimated running cost

Cost = (total rated watts / 1,000) x operating hours per day x days x electricity price per kWh.

At full rated power, this mat uses 1.2 kWh per hour. Running it for an assumed 8 hours per day uses 9.6 kWh per day, or 288 kWh over an assumed 30 days.

Illustrative US assumptions: 8 hours per day at full rated power and US$0.17/kWh. The calculated cost is USD 1.63 for one day or USD 48.96 for 30 days. This rate is an example, not a utility quote.

Examples assume full rated power for all stated hours. They exclude fixed utility charges and do not predict weather, operating schedules or automatic-control behavior.

Frequently asked questions

What ramp size is this mat for?

The mat is 37 in wide and 15 ft long. Compare those dimensions with the actual usable ramp surface and clearances; do not choose it solely because a ramp is described as a standard width.

Is this the same as the 10 ft ramp mat?

No. This longer version is 37 in x 15 ft and rated at 1200W. The separate 37 in x 10 ft product is rated at 950W. Select the product that matches the measured ramp.

Can it connect to another heated mat?

No. This ramp mat operates independently and cannot join the stair and walkway twist-lock system or another ramp mat.

How much power does the 15 ft ramp mat use?

Rated power is 1200W on a 120V supply. At full rated power it uses 1.2 kWh per operating hour. Actual energy consumption depends on operating time.

Does it fit every 36-inch wheelchair ramp?

No. The mat is wider than 36 inches, so check the usable surface, rails, edges and transitions. Do not assume the mat can safely overhang the ramp.

Will the ramp remain clear without inspection?

Inspect the route during use and maintain uncovered areas and remaining snow or ice. Weather, snowfall and placement affect melting performance; the mat does not replace routine winter checks.

Warranty and support

All SEAL heated snow-melting mats sold by WARMSEAL carry a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Damage from misuse or improper installation is excluded. The warranty is separate from the 30-day return window. For support, email seal@warmseal.net with your order number, model and a description of the issue.

Returns and refunds

30-Day Returns If a SEAL mat isn't right for your space, you can return it within 30 days of delivery. All returns require a return authorization — email us at seal@warmseal.net with your order number before shipping anything back. Returns sent without authorization can't be processed.

Unused mats, original packaging — Full refund of the purchase price. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Opened but unused — Refund of the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

If something's wrong, it's on us. Damaged in transit, defective, or not what you ordered? Email us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — including any shipping you paid. In most cases we won't ask you to ship the mat back at all.

What we can't take back Mats that have been cut, trimmed, installed, or used can't be returned, since they can't be resold. These are still covered by your limited warranty against manufacturing defects — the warranty and the return window are separate things.

Custom and made-to-order items Custom-size and made-to-order mats — heated snow melting mats and garage floor mats alike — are built for your specific space and can't be resold, so they are final sale and not eligible for return or refund. They remain covered against manufacturing defects and shipping damage. If anything is wrong with a custom order, email us at seal@warmseal.net with your order number and photos, and we'll work it out with you directly.

Refund timing Once your return is received and inspected — or once we approve a photo-based claim — refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days. Your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit.
